  • Year 2 Mosque trip

    Mon 24 Nov 2025

To enhance our learning in RE about the Islam religion, the children in Year 2 visited Masjid Al Hussaini in Northolt.

At the Mosque, the children respectfully took off their shoes and visited one of the huge prayer halls. They learnt about the Imam, the place and rules for prayer and admired the huge dome. The children then visited the classroom, where children learn Quran and Arabic during the weekends.

  • Children In Need

    Wed 19 Nov 2025

Last Friday, there was a sea of yellow in the school as we marked BBC Children In Need and World Children's Day. There were lots of fun activities in class and children attended assemblies about Children In Need. Some children even got to meet Pudsey himself at the local Asda store. We also raised money for Children In Need and raised a total of:

    £368.34

Thank you to everyone who donated for such a worthy cause.

At our first Steering Group meeting, the Ambassadors were asked to design a new Ambassador badge. Their designs were really good and after a very difficult decision Zahyan's beautiful design was chosen. Here he is feeling very proud to have his design printed ready to wear for all the Ambassadors.

  • Diwali Showcase

    Fri 17 Oct 2025

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us for our Diwali Showcase!

The children had a wonderful time celebrating the Festival of Lights. They enjoyed making clay divas, creating beautiful rangoli patterns, designing henna art, listening to traditional music, and learning all about the Diwali story.

It was a joyful celebration filled with colour, creativity, and togetherness. We loved seeing our school community come together to share in this special cultural event.

  • Year 1’s Exciting Geography Adventure at Minet Country Park!

    Thu 16 Oct 2025

This week, Year 1 went on a wonderful Geography trip to Minet Country Park! We put on our coats and set off to be real geographers.

At the park, we looked carefully for human and physical features. We spotted trees, ponds, and hills, which are all physical features made by nature. We also saw human features like paths, bridges, benches, and car parks that people have built.

Our enquiry question for the day was:

“Are there enough signposts in Minet Country Park?”

We worked in teams to look around and count how many signposts we could find. Some groups thought there were plenty, but others noticed that it was easy to get a little lost! We had great discussions about how signs help people find their way and why they are important in parks.

When we came back to class, we used everything we had seen to draw our own maps of the park. We added the paths, trees, ponds, and even remembered to include a key for our symbols — just like real cartographers!

Everyone had such a fun time learning outdoors and using their geography skills in the real world. Well done, Year 1 Geographers!
