E-Safety

Technology and the internet open up many exciting opportunities and are a central feature of our daily lives. Technology includes a range of resources such as games consoles (for example, Xbox), mobile phones, televisions, tablets and many other things. It is essential children are taught how to use technology and the internet safely so they can use such tools effectively to enhance their learning and to provide them with positive and enriching experiences. The teaching of online safety is embedded in many areas of the curriculum especially computing. Parents/ carers also have an important role to play to make sure their children are safe online. This page contains lots of useful information for parents/ carers to refer to, to help them know more about how to ensure the online safety of their children.
