RE Pupil Voice 2023-24

“In RE I learnt about the Holy Trinity in Christianity. I really enjoy the stories we learn in RE. In Year Two we read the story of the Lost Sheep. RE learning makes you more knowledgeable.”

Ibraahim (Yr.2)

“RE is learning about different religions. Like Sikhs and Christians. I know I am a Sikh because I go to the Gurudwara. I did not know what a Mandir looks like but now I do. I get excited about what I will learn next in RE.”

Fateh (Yr.1)

“RE teaches you about different religions. I know Christians and Sikhs are different religions. RE teaches that we have similarities. If I do good learning RE I can teach others. It makes me smarter. I remember visiting the Mandir in Yr.1.”

Fatima (Yr.2)

“I know I am a Sikh and RE teaches you about other cultures. I am interested in the Somali culture. I know that they fast. It is important to learn about other cultures because if someone asks you a question you can answer it. I would like to learn more about my own culture.”

Arjan (Yr.2)

“In RE I learnt that Christians believe in Jesus and Jesus is God’s son. I remember visiting a Hindu special place. I want to know why we have Hindu, Muslims and Christians. Why does religion exist… why are we all not the same?”

Muhsin (Yr.2)
