Parent/ carer workshops for Spring 2
Tue 22 Feb 2022This half-term, we will be continuing with our hugely successful online workshops for parents/carers.
There will be a workshop almost each week and each workshop will have a different theme. The aim of these is to provide you with information about what we are doing in school, as well as some ideas to support your children at home.
Please see below for an overview of the five workshops on offer this half-term, which are all on Wednesdays at 1.45pm. As these will be virtual for the time being - Team links to access each workshop have been emailed to parents/ carers.
Our first workshop is about the books your child will receive home this week in their bookbags, how they link to RWI – our new Phonics programme – and how you can support your child at home with their reading.
We look forward to seeing lots of you there!

Personal Best Challenges
Fri 04 Feb 2022Each week at lunchtimes children are being encouraged to take part in the Hillingdon Personal Best Challenges. There is a new challenge for children to take part in week with the challenges so far being Hop Scotch and Around the World. For the Around the World challenge, children had to see how many times they could pass a ball around their waist in 60 seconds.
The school is competing against others in the borough to see which school has the highest number of children participating in each challenge. So far for both the Hop Scotch and Around the World challenges, Minet Infants has secured 2nd place.
Next week's challenge is Step In Step Out where children have to step in and step out of a circle as many times as they can in 60 seconds. Let's see if we can get 1st place for the highest number of children taking part!
