• Year 2 Living Rainforest trip

  The Year 2 children have just started their new topic in T4W. We went on a school trip to the Living Rainforest and had a wonderful time. The children were excited from the moment we arrived and loved exploring the different animals together. They listened carefully, asked lots of questions and enjoyed learning throughout the day. The children had a really wonderful day. 

  

• IQM Inclusive School Award

  The school is very proud to announce that is has been awarded the IQM Inclusive School Award. The award recognises and celebrates schools who are committed to inclusion and to creating an environment where every children feels a true sense of belonging and can thrive. The school also achieved IQM Centre of Excellence status as the school demonstrates exemplary practice in inclusion. The IQM report said "Inclusion is at the heart of all the work of the school." Well done to Mrs Dolan and the rest of the school staff for working so hard to gain this recognition and for ensuring every single child's needs are fully met. 

  

• Attendance Winners

  Well done to our attendance winners for trying so hard to come to school every single day! Bronze certificates were given to children who had 100% attendance this half term and silver certificates were given to children for 100% attendance for the whole of the Autumn term. All of these children were entered into the attendance raffle and one lucky winner from each year group was selected for the attendance raffle prize. Badges were also given out to children with good attendance who had an attendance rate of 96% or more. And finally, the grand prize of the 12 Days of Christmas Attendance Challenge was handed out!

• Santa visits Minet

  Children had a wonderful time at their Christmas parties. There was lots of dancing, games and even ice-cream! But to top it off, Santa visited each class and gave each child a very special Christmas present. All of the children were very polite and remembered to use their good manners with Santa. 

  

• Nursery Carol Concert

  The Nursery children had an excellent time performing their carols at our 2025 Carol Concert. We are so proud of the resilience children have shown to learn the actions and words. Thank you to all of the parents/carers who came to watch, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. 

   

  

• Year 1 Nativity

  Year 1 performed their Nativity, Knock Knock, and it was a wonderful success.
  The children showed great confidence and enthusiasm as they sang songs, spoke clearly, and brought the Christmas story to life. Their hard work and dedication were evident throughout the performance, making it an enjoyable experience for everyone who attended.

  The performance made staff and families extremely proud, and it was a lovely way to celebrate the festive season. Well done to all of the Year 1 children for such a fantastic Nativity performance.

  

• Reception's Songs for the Season performance

  This week, the Reception children performed their festive concert, Songs for the Season. The children sang with confidence, creating a joyful atmosphere. Parents/ carers enjoyed a festive mince pie and joined in with the singing. It was a wonderful celebration!

  

• Winter Fayre

  Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Winter Fayre helping raise money for the school. There was lots activities including a raffle, pin the nose on the reindeer, name the teddy, Tombola, lucky dip, guess the number of sweets in the jar, face painting and a penalty shootout. It was great to see so many families attend and have lots of fun at the Winter Fayre. Stay tuned for updates on how much was raised!

  

• Robin Hood Panto

  Children enjoyed the Robin Hood panto in school today. The panto followed the legend of Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men as they battled against the Sheriff of Nottingham to help the poor and needy of Sherwood Forest. The children enjoyed joining in and helping find the villains of the story.
