  • Attendance winners

    Well done to all of the children who received a certificate for excellent attendance. The certificates and prizes were given out in today's assembly. 

     

    Children who had 100% for this half term received the Bronze Attendance certificate. Silver Attendance certificates were given to children who achieved 100% attendance for the summer term. Children who achieved 100% attendance for the summer term were entered into our attendance prize raffle and names drawn from each year group.  

     

    Finally, Gold Attendance certificates were given to children who achieved 100% attendance for the WHOLE year. They also received a book voucher to spend at Waterstones. Congratulations to our winners and well done on your excellent attendance!

     

     

  • Temporary school building

    The infant and nursery school is undergoing major refurbishment works which are beginning over the summer holidays. In order to allow these works to take place, the infants are moving into a temporary school building on one of the sports fields from September 2022. The temporary school's entrance is pictured below. Parents/ carers will receive further information about the location of each classroom in the temporary school towards the end of the summer holidays. 

     

    We look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday 5th September 2022 in the temporary school building.

  • New school opening hours from September 2022

    The school’s new opening times will begin for all children in Reception and Key Stage One when they return from the summer holidays on Monday 5th September 2022. All children will be expected to be in school by 8.40am each day. If children arrive at school later than this time, they will be recorded as ‘Late’ on the school register. The gates will open each morning at 8.30am and children will be able to go into class for a ‘soft start’ from this time.

     

    The new finish time for Reception and Key Stage One children will be 3.10pm every day.

     

    The timings for Nursery children will remain the same. AM sessions will begin at 8.30am and finish at 11.30am. For PM sessions, the sessions will begin at 12.15pm and finish at 3.15pm. Nursery full-time children will begin each day at 8.30am and finish at 3.15pm.

  • Summer Holiday Meal Vouchers

    Household Support Grant - Summer Holiday Meal Vouchers

     

    As part of the Household Support Grant Scheme, Hillingdon will be providing Edenred food vouchers to all children entitled to benefit related free school meals during the summer holiday period. Parents/ carers will receive two payments to cover the six weeks holiday, the first payment will be sent week ending 22nd July and a second payment week ending 12th August.

  • Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) 2022

    Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) 2022:

     

    The HAF programme, funded by the Department for Education, offers children the chance to participate in free holiday provision, including healthy food and enriching activities coordinated by the local authority. 

     

    The HAF programme is open to school-aged children (reception to year 11) who receive benefits-related free school meals. Through our programme of healthy food and fun activities, children and young people can develop new skills, take part in creative and physical activities, learn about food and cooking, and enjoy free nutritious meals each day.

     

    This summer our HAF programme in Hillingdon will be offering eligible children the chance to participate in up to four weeks of free activities - maximum of 4 days per week/16 across the summer. We have over 5000 places on weeklong programmes being delivered across the Borough, working with over 20 different providers. Activities include sports programmes, life skills, creative arts, outdoor adventure activities and multi-activity summer camps.

     

    Programmes are delivered across the whole borough utilising schools, leisure centres, outdoor spaces and other community venues to bring the activities to the local communities of eligible children.

  • FIESTA 2022

    FIESTA 2022:

     

    FIESTA is one of the summer holidays programmes being delivered from 25th July to 26th August 2022 and is offered to children and young people in school years 1 to 12.  FIESTA delivers from various locations across the Borough including the Young Peoples Centres in Ruislip, South Ruislip, Harlington and Uxbridge, and from local sports facilities and community venues including the Compass Theatre. This year's offer includes Summer Fun and Big Summer multi-activity programmes, Musical theatre for young people with disabilities and support needs, cricket, netball, tennis, First Aid, plus much more. There really is something for everyone.

     

    Bookings are now open! You can book via the web on Summer Activity Programme 2022. - Hillingdon Council. There are 3 different types of tickets that can be booked; 1. resident tickets - if you live or are educated in Hillingdon, 2.non-resident tickets - if you live outside the borough and do not attend a Hillingdon school or 3. HAF tickets - for children and young people who are on free school meals who families are in receipt of benefits (theses families would have already received an email on how to book. If you feel that you are eligible for HAF and not received an email, please contact HAFprogramme@hillingdon.gov.uk).

  • Free Family fun cycling events: Bikesperation

    Hillingdon Council is organising two Free Family Fun Cycling Events this summer. Come and join us to try out a variety of bicycles or have a go at the Smoothie bike.  You are also welcome to bring along your bikes and have them checked over by our Borough Cycle instructors and join in some basic cycling skills on the day.  We hope to see you at one of the two events:

  • MyHealth Asthma Workshops

    MyHealth are running FREE Asthma workshops for parents/ carers who have children with asthma. These sessions are run by the Hillingdon Hospital asthma nurses giving you the chance to learn from health professionals and to ask them questions directly.  Some of the content included in these sessions includes asthma attacks, asthma triggers, inhaler techniques and asthma action plans.

     

    The workshop is run online using ZOOM from 4pm - 5pm over several dates- you can register your FREE place from this link.
