Some children had already bought his books and got them signed, whilst others were inspired to do so.
We thank Tim for such an engaging session with our pupils!

World Book Day
Sun 10 Mar 2024This week, we enjoyed another fantastic World Book Day. At Minet, reading is a priority and aim to ensure that our children “learn to read” so that they can “read to learn”. However, we also believe that if children genuinely love reading, they will read more and read better, which will increase their attainment too.
World Book Day has become an annual event where we can reading for pleasure. This year, the children took part in a host of book related activities, including dressing up as their favourite book character, parents/carers sharing books with their children, staff swapping classes to read books and to teach book-related lessons, virtual illustration sessions and also an author visit.
Thank you all for making the day such a success! -
