RE Pupil Voice 2022-23

“RE stands for Religious Education. I enjoy learning about different celebrations and stories. I know the parable of The Good Samaritan and that Jesus could perform miracles. When we went to the church, I liked looking at the stained-glass windows. They tell stories about Jesus.”

Ibraahim, Year 1

“In RE we learn about different religions such as Islam and Christianity. When we visited the church, I compared it to the mosque I go to. I had never been to a church before, that was new for me.”

Asho, Year 2

“RE is when we learn about religions such as Hindus, Christians and Muslims. Religion is when you believe and pray to different Gods. I learnt that Muslims believe in one God and they call him Allah. I did not know this before.”

Shanuja, Year 2

“I know I am a Sikh because my mum told me and I wear a Kara. People have different religions, like Christians and Hindus. I was really excited and happy when we visited the church.”

Bableen, Year 1
