Silver STARS award
Fri 13 Oct 2023The school has achieved the TfL STARS silver award for its work around active school travel and road safety. The school actively encourages as many parents/ carers and children to travel to school everyday in an active way such as walking, riding a bike or scooter or even doing park and stride! As part of this, we have regular walk to school campaigns including taking part in the Big Walk and Wheel every year. We also regularly teach road safety so children know how to keep themselves safe around busy roads. This is done through assemblies, pedestrian training sessions and special events such as Beep Beep Day. This work will continue this year and we hope to achieve gold very soon!
