• Year 1 United Kingdom Day

  Year 1 had a special day visiting each classroom to participate in an activity based on one of the countries of the United Kingdom. We used the VRs to 'visit' London landmarks. We learnt Irish Dancing, played rugby and made tartan...a fun filled day!

  

• Year 2 Golf Taster Session

  Mon 06 Feb 2023

  Today the children in Year 2 had a Golf Taster Session with an external coach. The coach taught us about the different equipment needed for golf, the different ways of putting and how points add up in a game of golf. It was very enjoyable to learn about a new sport. Thank you to the coach who came into school to teach us all about golf. 

  

• Year 2 visit to 'The Living Rainforest'

  Year 2 enjoyed a visit to 'The Living Rainforest'. They were amazed to see all the animals they had been learning about and the staff members there were impressed with the knowledge that children had about animals in the Rainforest. They saw a sloth, pygmy marmoset monkeys, snakes, turtles, birds, tortoises, a tarantula, frogs and many more! We learnt about a magic leaf on plants and even saw a cocoa tree. A big thank you to the parent volunteers who came to help, it would not be possible without you.

• Family Friday: Phonics (Reception)

• Year 2 Taekwondo Festival

  On Wednesday 25th January, some Year 2 children went to the Hillingdon Taekwondo festival. Following on from Taekwondo tasters in school, the children learnt some key skills like punching, kicking and dodging for self defense. They all had a great time!

  

• Year 1 Visit to Windsor Castle

  Our Year 1 Pupils had an amazing day at Windsor Castle. We have been reading, 'The Queen's handbag,' in English and learning about the United Kingdom in Geography. We saw the changing of the guards, Queen's Mary's doll's house, went inside the state apartments and the Chapel. We paid our respects to her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

  

• Year 2 Fire Safety workshops

  Year 2 enjoyed a visit from The London Fire Brigade. They learnt so much about fire safety including how to evacuate, who to call in an emergency and how to make your home safe. Thank you to The London Fire Brigade!

  

• Reception Dino Day!

  The Reception children looked fantastic in their Dinosaur hats that they made at home. We have been learning about dinosaurs since the beginning of the term and this special day was a chance for the children to celebrate their learning so far!
