Learn Hillingdon Adult Community Education
Tue 16 Jul 2024Hillingdon Council's Learn Hillingdon Adult and Community Education prospectus for 2024/25 will be available shortly with hundreds of part-time day and evening courses to help residents aged 19 and above gain new skills, get prepared for work or get promoted or gain a qualification.
They have a full range of fun, creative and social sessions including art, sewing and fashion, flower arranging and languages. As well as courses where participants can learn new skills and improve their health and wellbeing, such as cookery sessions, exercise classes, courses to support mental health and others to help you live more sustainably.
If you would like a career in caring for others, there are courses to provide you with the knowledge and skills to progress towards careers in a range of professions, including community mental health services, residential care, home-based care and healthcare support services.
If you'd like to support children with their early development, Learn Hillingdon can help you on your career path as an early years' practitioner in nurseries or pre-schools, or a support role in primary and secondary schools, including learning support assistants, teaching assistants or learning mentors.
We also have courses for Digital Skills, ESOL and English and Maths.

Reception and Key Stage 1 Sports Day
Fri 12 Jul 2024The children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 showed off their amazing sports skills today during Sports Day. They had fun running, jumping, throwing and even doing the obstacle course! We can't wait to see who has won the Sports Day trophy for Year 1 and Year 2 when we have counted up all the scores. Thank you to all the parents who supported their children and joined us for the picnic, the children had a lovely day.

Nursery Picnic
Fri 12 Jul 2024Our Nursery children had a picnic today with families, along with the teachers, played a variety of games and enjoyed each other's delicious delicacies in the great weather. Thank you to everyone who came along.

Hillingdon Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme
Thu 11 Jul 2024Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme is open to school-aged children (reception to year 11) who receive benefits-related free school meals. Through the Hillingdon programme of healthy food and fun activities, children and young people can develop new skills, take part in creative and physical activities, learn about food and cooking, and enjoy free nutritious meals each day. Year 1 visit to the Shree Jalaram Mandir & Community Centre
Wed 10 Jul 2024Our Year 1 pupils visited the Shree Jalaram Mandir & Community Centre as part of their RE learning. They looked at artefacts and learnt about what happens in the Mandir.

Nursery sports day 2024
Fri 05 Jul 2024The Nursery children had a fantastic day on sports day. They took part in a carousel of activities which allowed them to showcase different skills that they have learnt this year. These skills included balancing, throwing, running and jumping. Thank you to all our parent/carers that have attended to support the children.

Year 1 Visit to the Nest
Mon 01 Jul 2024Our Year 1 Pupils have visited, 'The Nest,' which is an indoor climbing wall. Children were able to show off their skills by climbing as well as playing fun games with the coaches!

Neil Armstrong Workshop for Year 1
Fri 28 Jun 2024Year 1 enjoyed their visit from Freshwater Theatre, exploring the life and times of Neil Armstrong; recreating the events of his journey and launching into space in Apollo 11.

John McDonnell visit
Mon 24 Jun 2024For #WorldEnvironmentDay, after reading Greta and the Giants and being inspired by her message 'No one is too small to make a difference' the Year 2 children wrote a persuasive letter about Climate Change to Rt Hon Mr John McDonnell MP for Hayes and Harlington.
We were honoured to have Mr McDonnell visit the school last week and hear some of the letters the children wrote.
