Year 1 Visit to Windsor Castle

As part of our Geography Curriculum and the Year 1 English topic on 'The Queen's Handbag,' Year 1 went to visit Windsor Castle to complement what we had learned in school.

It was a wet but lovely day, and the children enjoyed exploring the Castle. We visited the rooms in the State Apartments, saw the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth in St George's Chapel and the wonderful doll's house that belonged to Queen Mary. What a wonderful day the children had, visiting Windsor Castle and learning about the British Monarchs.

Thank you to the parent carer helpers that joined us on the trip.
