Winter Fayre
Wed 20 Dec 2023Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Winter Fayre. There was lots going on during the fayre including a raffle, face painting, balloon making, a book sale plus lots more. The funds raised will be used by the school for the benefit of the school's children.

Nursery Christmas Performance
Mon 18 Dec 2023Thank you to all the parents/ carers who attended Nursery's Christmas performance. Parents/ carers enjoyed the children singing lots of Christmas songs including We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Five Little Snowmen. Well done to all of the children for working so hard to remember all of the songs and for putting on an excellent performance for all the parents/ carers.

Christmas Jumper Day
Wed 13 Dec 2023Everybody came into school today wearing their favourite Christmas jumpers. There were lots of red, glittering, sparkly jumpers throughout the whole school. Children also enjoyed their Christmas lunch listening to festive songs and pulling crackers with their friends.

Year 1 Visit to St. Mary's Church
Fri 08 Dec 2023Our Year 1 pupils walked to St. Mary's Church this week. It was lovely hearing the Christmas Story in the oldest building in Hayes. Thank you Father Wheeler!

Hayes Town Forum Treasure Hunt
Wed 06 Dec 2023Representatives from Hayes Town Forum visited the school this week to present prizes to the winners of the Hayes Town Treasure Hunt 2023. The winners were awarded £20.00 in cash and a wrist watch which were donated as prizes by local businesses. Well done to the winners and don't forget to take part next year for a chance to win some great prizes.

Christmas Pantomime
Tue 05 Dec 2023This week, all year groups enjoyed watching the Pantomime "Jack and the Beanstalk." We couldn't believe that the giant was trying to take over the village. He even gave Jill a cursed potion that made her evil! Luckily, Jack and his mother rescued Jill and cut down the beanstalk. We joined in with their dancing at the end of the show.

Reception Botwell Green Library visit
Mon 04 Dec 2023Reception children enjoyed a visit to Botwell Green Library and listened to an exciting monster story whilst we were there. Amy, the librarian, sang songs with us and told us all the different things we could do at the library. For example, go on computers, read stories, play on the games table and borrow footballs.

Hillingdon Winter HAF programme
Mon 04 Dec 2023The Hillingdon Holiday Activities and Food Programme will take place from Tueday 2nd January to Friday 5th January 2024. The programme is open to school-aged children who receive benefits-related free school meals.

Chertsey Toy Museum
Fri 01 Dec 2023As part of their history topic, 'Toys from the past,' our Year 1 Children had a visit from Chertsey Toy Museum. They were able to explore toys from the past with a range of real and replica toys from 120-60 years ago. They also looked at how different toys work and how they have changed over time.
