Year 2 Pedestrian Training
Thu 16 Mar 2023On 14.3.23 and 15.3.23 Year 2 completed Pedestrian training. They learnt how to safely cross the road when using a zebra crossing, between parked cars and on other roads with dropped curbs. Thank you to Hillingdon for providing this service.

Year 2 writers workshop
Mon 06 Mar 2023Some children in Year 2 enjoyed a writers workshop delivered by author Alan Durrant. He came into school to teach the children different, creative techniques to use in their writing. We were joined by some children from Yeading Infant and Nursery School and the children learnt a lot. They wrote two stories and thought about interesting characters, plots and titles. Thank you Alan Durrant!

Year 2 'The Great Fire of London' workshop
Fri 03 Mar 2023Year 2 enjoyed learning about the conditions in London in 1666 and how the fire spread across London. They acted out being in the homes, putting the fire out and rebuilding London after.

Attendance Winners
Fri 10 Feb 2023Well done to all the children who achieved 100% attendance this half term. They were each awarded with a bronze certificate and entered into the half termly attendance raffle. Keep up the excellent attendance for the silver certificate which is awarded for 100% attendance for the whole term and another chance to win a prize from our attendance raffle.

PE Football Skills event
Wed 08 Feb 2023Today, eight children from Key Stage 1 got the opportunity to go to a football skills event at Barnhill High School. The children had opportunities to practice skills like dribbling, passing, shooting and general ball control. They had a great time and competed against other schools. Overall, the children came 3rd out of 7 schools! The children are very proud of themselves.
