Christmas Jumper Day and Lunch
Thu 12 Dec 2024Everyone came into school today wearing their favourite Christmas jumper. There were lots of lovely Christmas jumpers - there were lots of red jumpers, some sparkly jumpers and even some light up, flashing jumpers! At lunchtime, everyone enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch. There were all the Christmas trimmings including turkey, roast potatoes and yummy vegetables.

Change 4 Life Festival
Tue 10 Dec 2024Some children in Year 2 attended the Change 4 Life festival at Park Academy today. They took part in lots of different sporting activities such as Tic Tac Toe, playing with a parachute and they practiced team building skills by helping each other to complete a task. The children really enjoyed all of the activities and developed an understanding of the importance of an active lifestyle.

Year 1 Visit to St. Mary's Church
Thu 05 Dec 2024Our Year 1 children enjoyed their visit to St. Mary's Church in Hayes. They met Father Wheeler and looked at features of a church. Some of us were very impressed with the size of the organ!

Year 1 Gym Taster Session
Thu 28 Nov 2024Our Year 1 pupils experienced a gymnastics taster session this week. During this session, children learnt a range of gymnastic rolls, jumps, balances and travelling movements. The children had lots of fun, showed great courage in trying new things and developed their confidence. Well done gym team!

Year 2 Mosque visit
Mon 25 Nov 2024This week, the Year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed an enriching visit to the Mosque. They were fascinated by its stunning features, gained insight into the significance of prayer, and developed a better understanding of Islamic traditions. The children showed curiosity by asking lots of thoughtful questions. All the children were took time to appreciate the importance of respect and understanding towards others’ beliefs and traditions.

Yoga workshops for Reception children
Mon 25 Nov 2024The children in Reception thoroughly enjoyed the yoga workshops at the end of last week, they were keen to join in and Krupa the yoga teacher was very impressed with how quickly the children learnt the different yoga poses. The following poses were taught, downwards dog, cobra, warrior, boat and tree. The children also learnt the word 'Namaste' to begin and end the session.
