  • Nursery Farm Visit

    Fri 05 Dec 2025

This week, Nursery had a very exciting visit from the mobile farm! The children were thrilled to meet a wonderful range of animals, including ducks, chickens, ponies, goats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Throughout the day, the children were encouraged to get hands-on and develop their confidence around animals. They enjoyed feeding them carefully, stroking their soft fur and feathers, and even having a go at brushing the ponies and goats.

The visit created lots of lovely conversations about how we care for animals and look after living things. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to show gentleness, curiosity and responsibility, and they thoroughly enjoyed it!

  • Year 1 Visit to St Mary's Church

    Fri 05 Dec 2025

Year 1 had a wonderful trip to St Mary’s Virgin Church, the oldest building in Hayes. The children were warmly welcomed by Father Nicolas, who shared the Nativity and Christmas story with them in an engaging and thoughtful way.

During our visit, the children explored the key features of the church, noticing its beautiful architecture and special artefacts. They asked lots of thoughtful questions and showed great curiosity throughout.

It was a fantastic learning experience, and the children came away with a deeper understanding of the Christmas story and the history of their local community.

  • Year 1 Toy Workshop

    Fri 28 Nov 2025

This week, our Year 1 children enjoyed a wonderful learning experience when Chertsey Museum visited our school to lead a special workshop all about toys from the past.

The children were fascinated as they explored a range of old and new toys, discovering how playtime has changed over the years. They loved handling real historical toys and comparing them with the ones they play with today. From spinning tops and cup-and-ball games to teddy bears and clockwork animals, every item sparked curiosity and excitement.

Our pupils asked thoughtful questions, shared their own experiences, and were eager to learn about the materials, mechanisms, and history behind each toy. The hands-on activities were a particular highlight, giving the children a chance to explore and play just like children would have many years ago.

The visit brought our topic to life and helped deepen the children’s understanding of how toys have developed over time. A huge thank-you to Chertsey Museum for such an engaging and memorable workshop!

  • 12 Days of Christmas Attendance Challenge

  • Year 2 Mosque trip

    Mon 24 Nov 2025

To enhance our learning in RE about the Islam religion, the children in Year 2 visited Masjid Al Hussaini in Northolt.

At the Mosque, the children respectfully took off their shoes and visited one of the huge prayer halls. They learnt about the Imam, the place and rules for prayer and admired the huge dome. The children then visited the classroom, where children learn Quran and Arabic during the weekends.

  • Children In Need

    Wed 19 Nov 2025

Last Friday, there was a sea of yellow in the school as we marked BBC Children In Need and World Children's Day. There were lots of fun activities in class and children attended assemblies about Children In Need. Some children even got to meet Pudsey himself at the local Asda store. We also raised money for Children In Need and raised a total of:
