Nursery's Sainsbury's Visit
Fri 06 Feb 2026This week, Nursery enjoyed a local walk to Sainsbury’s in their small groups. Before we set off, the children helped to make a simple shopping list and talked about what we needed to buy. At the shop, they carefully selected items from the shelves and practised paying at the till. Have a look at our year group page for more photographs!

KS1 Change 4 life festival
Tue 03 Feb 2026Our KS1 pupils had a fantastic time at the Change4Life Festival PE trip. The children took part in a range of fun, active games that encouraged teamwork, movement, and healthy lifestyles. Everyone showed great enthusiasm and excellent behaviour, making the day both enjoyable and rewarding. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to be active, try new activities, and celebrate the importance of staying healthy.

Eco Warriors
Fri 30 Jan 2026Our School Eco Warriors have proudly been awarded their special badges. These badges recognise their commitment to helping care for our environment and making our school a greener place.
This year, our school is working towards achieving the Eco Award, and our Eco Warriors will play an important role in leading eco-friendly initiatives and encouraging positive environmental action across the school community.
Well done to all our Eco Warriors for taking on this important responsibility!

Year 2 pickleball taster session
Mon 26 Jan 2026Year 2 had lots of fun during their pickleball taster session! We learned how to hold the paddle safely and practised hitting and controlling the ball. Everyone tried their best and showed excellent listening and teamwork skills.
The children enjoyed working with their friends, taking turns, and cheering each other on. There were lots of smiles and laughter as we played fun games and tried a new sport together.

Year 1 Hayes Town Visit
Fri 23 Jan 2026Year 1 became real geographers today as they explored Hayes Town, identifying human and physical features in the local area. They observed buildings, roads, green spaces and landmarks, and used their findings to help answer our enquiry question: What is Hayes used for? The children showed great curiosity and enthusiasm as they investigated their local environment.

Year 1 Environmental Survey
Sat 17 Jan 2026Year 1 have completed an environmental survey. We carried out one survey at school and then walked to Minet Country Park. Thankfully, it was a sunny day!
While we were out, the children looked carefully at the environment around them. They were checking for litter, graffiti, noise and other things they could see and hear. The children were very observant and enjoyed exploring the local area.

Year 2 Living Rainforest trip
Thu 15 Jan 2026The Year 2 children have just started their new topic in T4W. We went on a school trip to the Living Rainforest and had a wonderful time. The children were excited from the moment we arrived and loved exploring the different animals together. They listened carefully, asked lots of questions and enjoyed learning throughout the day. The children had a really wonderful day.

IQM Inclusive School Award
Thu 15 Jan 2026The school is very proud to announce that is has been awarded the IQM Inclusive School Award. The award recognises and celebrates schools who are committed to inclusion and to creating an environment where every children feels a true sense of belonging and can thrive. The school also achieved IQM Centre of Excellence status as the school demonstrates exemplary practice in inclusion. The IQM report said "Inclusion is at the heart of all the work of the school." Well done to Mrs Dolan and the rest of the school staff for working so hard to gain this recognition and for ensuring every single child's needs are fully met.
