Nursery Farm Visit
Fri 05 Dec 2025This week, Nursery had a very exciting visit from the mobile farm! The children were thrilled to meet a wonderful range of animals, including ducks, chickens, ponies, goats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Throughout the day, the children were encouraged to get hands-on and develop their confidence around animals. They enjoyed feeding them carefully, stroking their soft fur and feathers, and even having a go at brushing the ponies and goats.
The visit created lots of lovely conversations about how we care for animals and look after living things. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to show gentleness, curiosity and responsibility, and they thoroughly enjoyed it!

Year 1 Visit to St Mary's Church
Fri 05 Dec 2025Year 1 had a wonderful trip to St Mary’s Virgin Church, the oldest building in Hayes. The children were warmly welcomed by Father Nicolas, who shared the Nativity and Christmas story with them in an engaging and thoughtful way.
During our visit, the children explored the key features of the church, noticing its beautiful architecture and special artefacts. They asked lots of thoughtful questions and showed great curiosity throughout.
It was a fantastic learning experience, and the children came away with a deeper understanding of the Christmas story and the history of their local community.
