The children in Reception had a fantastic time exploring the WonderDome, an interactive mobile planetarium. The inflatable dome created an exciting and immersive space where the children could sit inside and look up at a projected night sky. The children were mesmerized by the stars and planets. Matt the scientist was very impressed with the children's knowledge of the solar system! The experience sparked lots of questions and it was truly memorable.

The Year 2 children enjoyed an art workshop where they created a huge group piece of art. The art is based on African Printing, and the artist Esther Mahlangu, tying in with their learning. They sketched prints based on nature, then carved into polystyrene so they could use ink and print them to create a whole year group project. It looks fabulous!
