  • Wonderdome Planetarium Experience

    Thu 25 Jun 2026

The Reception children enjoyed a visit from the Wonderdome, an immersive indoor planetarium. They explored the night sky and learned about the different planets in our solar system. They were all fascinated by the stars and constellations they discovered inside the dome. The experience sparked lots of curiosity and inspired many interesting questions about space, planets and astronauts. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that captured the children's imaginations and helped develop their understanding of the world beyond Earth.

  • Life Bus workshops

    Fri 12 Jun 2026

This week Coram Life Education visited us, to provide the children with memorable workshops all about health and wellbeing. Through fun and engaging activities, the children explored the SCARF values of Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship. A particular highlight was meeting Harold the Giraffe, who supported the childrens' understanding of resilience, which is also one of our school values. The workshops also included the importance of eating healthy food, going to bed on time and exercising regularly. We hope that through these interactive experiences, the children understood a range of ways to keep both their minds and bodies healthy.

  • ECO DAY / NO PENS DAY

    Thu 21 May 2026

The whole school enjoyed a fantastic Eco Day this week, beginning with an assembly that explained the purpose of the event and encouraged everyone to think about how small actions can help protect our planet; throughout the day pupils took part in a No Pens Day, putting away all writing materials and focusing instead on oracy skills, turn‑taking, active listening and meaningful discussion, while many classes also spent time outdoors appreciating nature; the whole school joined in an Earth‑Saving Hour by switching off lights and non‑essential electronics, giving children a real sense of how energy conservation works in practice; overall it was an excellent day filled with collaboration, curiosity and a shared commitment to caring for our environment.
