Year 1 had a fantastic visit to Minet Country Park as part of their Geography learning. During the trip, the children explored the park and learnt about the difference between human and physical features, identifying examples of both in the local environment. They also took on the role of young geographers by investigating whether there were enough signposts around the park to help visitors find their way. The children enjoyed observing the natural surroundings, discussing their findings and working together throughout the day.
