COVID-19 Information

COVID-19 guidance reminder

The main symptoms of COVID-19 are:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss or change to sense of smell or taste

Children who develop symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend school and should self-isolate at home. Parents/ carers should arrange for their child to have a PCR test. Children will be able to return to school if they test negative (the school may request evidence of a negative test result) or after they have completed a period of self-isolation if they test positive. Further information can be found on the the following websites (click to access the links):

Click the link below for information about ending self-isolation using a lateral flow test:

COVID-19 Risk assessment

The school's COVID-19 risk assessment outlines what measures are followed in school to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission which includes a range of 'control measures' such as keeping spaces well ventilated. The risk assessment is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the latest government advice. Click below to access the full risk assessment:

COVID-19 Outbreak Management Plan
